DSCI Excellence Awards 

Data Security Council of India is a not-for-profit, industry body on data protection in India set up by NASSCOM, committed to making the cyberspace safe, secure and trusted by establishing best practices, standards and initiatives in cyber security and privacy.

DSCI Excellence Award for Cyber Security Evangelists is to recognize, honour and reward organizations and individuals who have taken strategic, proactive and innovative efforts to bring about awareness towards the need for cyber security and privacy for the public at large.

Vaishali and her law firm won this award in year 2016 for their outstanding efforts in “Keeping Children Safe Online “

Most Eminent Women in Cyber Security

IBM recognized Vaishali as ‘the woman who turned the tide and now pursue a successful career in cyber security’ in its IBM WISE ( Women in Security Excelling) India Chapter, WISE INDIA Summit 2019. Vaishali was interviewed by Neelam Dhawan, Head Advisory Board, IBM India and Tracey Dedrick, Board Member ISACA

Rotary Vocational Excellence Award

The Rotary award for Vocational Excellence is a District award for an individual, Rotarian or a non-Rotarian to recognize vocational excellence of the highest order and to honour outstanding contribution by individuals for significant achievement in their chosen field of vocation.

Vaishali was conferred with the award by Rotary District 3131.

Best Director for Literacy for the T-E-A-C-H Program

Vaishali Bhagwat received the Best Director for Literacy for the T-E-A-C-H Program from Rotary International District ( RID) 3131, Rotary Club of Pune Pride.

TCS Chevening Scholarship

Vaishali is the first lawyer in the country who was selected in the TCS Chevening Scholarship program on Cyber Defense and international collaboration on Cyber Policy by the British High Commission and Tata Consultancy Services. It was a 12 week residential program on “International Collaboration on Cyber Policy” at Cranfield University, Ministry of Defense campus, UK. The scholarship was fully funded by TCS. She was selected in a team of 6 members from all over India and was the only woman in the team. Vaishali also completed a Post Graduate certificate Program on Cyber Security and Information Assurance at Cranfield University, UK which included writing research papers on  Critical Networks and Process Control, Cyber Attack-threats and opportunities, Cyber Defense – Governance and Management, Social Technologies, Human Dimension and Understanding Risk and Information assurance.

DISHAA 3 – Common purpose scholarship on Innovative Leadership

Vaishali was selected in the top 20 professionals from India and UK by the British High Commission for its flagship program “A Common Purpose scholarship on Innovative Leadership -DISHAA 3” on social entrepreneurship. The 3 week residential program was held at the Infosys campus at Mysore. The program chaired by PM Manmohan Singh and PM David Cameron and Vaishali was awarded a certificate from UK Prime Minister David Cameron.
