Vaishali heads and manages a 50 + year old all service law firm started by her father VP Shintre. The firm is based on a solid foundation of Quality, Integrity and Ethics and has also embraced the modern work ethos. Vaishali leads a strong team of lawyers and para-legals from the firms office based in Pune. The firm also has a presence in Mumbai and Kolhapur.

Vaishali has represented leading companies, banks and individuals in cases of data theft , security breach , insider fraud, impersonsation, unauthorised access, IP infringement, Social media or website related crimes, online defamation , etc before the Adjudicating Officers in Mumbai , Delhi and Hyderabad, Mumbai High Court and the Cyber Appellate Tribunal / TDSAT in Delhi. She was also appointed and consulted as special counsel by Pune Police on some complex cyber crime cases.
Vaishali is the first lawyer in the country who was selected in the TCS Chevening Scholarship program on Cyber Defense and international collaboration on cyber policy by the British High Commission and Tata Consultancy Services. It was a 12 week residential program on “International Collaboration on Cyber Policy” at Cranfield University, Ministry of Defense campus, UK. The scholarship was fully funded by TCS. She was selected in a team of 6 members from all over India and was the only woman in the team. Vaishali also completed a Post Graduate certificate Program on Cyber Security and Information Assurance at Cranfield University UK which included writing research papers on Critical Networks and Process Control, Cyber Attack-threats and opportunities, Cyber Defense – Governance and Management, Social Technologies, Human Dimension and Understanding Risk and Information assurance.
She advises clients for Cyber related compliance across several sectors such as banking & finance, health, publication, education, gaming, manufacturing and IT- ITES
Vaishali is invited by several industry forums to speak on the subject of cyber crimes and law namely CII, Police Training Academy, Judges Training Academy,, DSCI , KPMG , E&Y, UN Women, SECONA , Rotary International. She is particularly concerned about “keeping children safe online” and has collaborated with the National Crime Agency(CEOP) on this subject and spoke before representatives of over 100 countries at a Rotary International conference at Seoul. She is also a regular speaker at All India Chief Information Security Officers Summit held annually in New Delhi and also the Ground Zero Summit which is the Largest Infosec Conference in Asia.
Vaishali has won the prestigious NASSCOM DSCI award in 2016 in the category of Cyber Security.
Vaishali has written several articles on cyber security and law relating to cyber crimes in leading newspapers and magazines and has been interviewed of several public platforms and forums on this subject including DoorDarshan and All India Radio
Vaishali has recently co-authored a book titled “Cyber Crimes – Technology Menace of the 21st Century” and is published in English and Marathi and authored the course material for the certificate course in cyber laws at the Symbiosis Centre for Distance learning
She also works for women and children related issues such as basic education and literacy, Women empowerment through Skilling, laws relating to women and prevention of sexual harassment and all forms of gender discrimination with a special focus on “Keeping Children Safe Online”
